Our client, an award-winning firm, has a National VAT Team of over 35 people. There is now a superb opportunity to join the team, to help lead and develop the business in the Midlands and Southwest. You’ll work closely with VAT colleagues around the UK as part of the national team and locally with the offices and people in your area and be part of the business development activities of both, internally and externally. The team is nationwide, and has grown substantially in recent years, with a varied and impressive client portfolio. This role is based primarily in the Midlands, with links to offices based in the South West, and travel to clients nationwide.
You’ll be responsible for your own clients and will provide generalist advice to a wide range of businesses, covering both corporate (including property and construction, retail, manufacturing sectors) and not for profit entities and schools. You’ll develop trusted client relationships, create new opportunities for the VAT team, and provide technical support to other service lines within the business.
You will be an experienced UK VAT generalist, comfortable in a client facing role and enjoy a focus on marketing and business development. You’ll be supported by an experienced team, and will work together to drive the business forward, developing career opportunities as you do so.
