Our client is a highly successful and fast growing Top 10 firm, who is looking to further strengthen their Tax Dispute Resolution team with the addition of a forward-thinking Manager.
You will be managing your own portfolio of clients providing advice on a range of HMRC enquiries, ranging from straightforward disclosure errors to complex tax fraud cases, and also supporting the Director and Partner on more complex COP8 and COP9 cases. The role involves preparing appeal cases, liaising with the Tribunal Service and Counsel when required, and leading on larger HMRC projects. You will naturally possess good client handling skills and the ability to manage the process and the client to the best outcome.
This is a key area of growth for the firm, and this small team has large ambitions for the next few years. They are looking for an ACCA/CTA qualified Manager, with experience in a similar role, who has excellent technical expertise, effective communication skills and a desire to assist with business development opportunities. You will need to have good overall knowledge of HMRC procedures and be confident with disclosures and investigations.
